Beauty Revisited

Established 2007

Welcome to the homepage of Charm & Grace on the web. The purpose of this website is to seek out, explore, and present those things that are filled with charm and grace. It is an homage to the charm of days gone by, and it is a gentle longing for all things lovely and filled with grace for our future.

Autumn's Glory Blazes

Here at Charm & Grace, lest we should be old-fashioned, we are "putting our trinkets on" (with a nod to Emily Dickinson.) Who can resist the fiery oranges, brilliant reds, and sumptuous golden tones spotted across the landscapes of autumn? What a joyful thing it is to see the wondrous transformation of nature right before our eyes, as the leaves begin their annual choreography of changing color and making their way from branch to earth. It's time to explore the many aspects of autumn, from apple picking and pumpkin harvesting, to a lazy drive to catch a glimpse of nature's dance. Porches filled with pots of chrysanthemums, scarecrows bulging at the seams with straw, cinnamon brooms, and pumpkins carved and candlelit are all signs that summer is behind us and autumn is here.

Join us for a tour through the countryside or sightsee among our beautiful pictures of autumn leaves. Take a look at the flowers of fall in our Le Jardin features. Do not miss our feature on the extraordinary Longwood Gardens of Pennsylvania. Let our poetry bring to mind warm hues and golden tones. And, be sure to peruse our literary feature about a loveable old rabbit gentleman. Our fall recipes are sure to tempt your taste buds. Whatever it is you love about autumn, join us at Charm & Grace as we fall in love with fall all over again.

Fall in love with Fall

Fall Front Door

The Splendor of autumn wafts down,
Fleetingly floating, then soaking the ground
With colors...
All around our feet the colors scatter,
As though we've stepped into an Artist's canvas
...and, indeed, we have.
