From her home in Vermont near the beautiful waters of Lake Champlain, April Cornell makes magic with color. With her paintbox and brushes, she draws inspiration from nature and designs fabrics that virtually come alive with those elements by which she is inspired. Whether a bird, a flower, a thistle, a tree... whatever she finds to urge her toward her canvas, she then creates the portrait in vivid color, and it soon becomes something wonderful for all of us to enjoy. Her ability to draw from nature and its color palette, and then to apply those colors to the nooks and crannies of everyday life, is a true gift.
