This website was born from a passion for beauty and the need to share it. For a few of years now, I have had the inspiration and desire to start a sort of online magazine. I have been fortunate enough to come across many wonderful websites and lovely online groups with ideas or photos or articles which deserve to be collected and shared. Also, I have a fondness for the published paper magazine, with my particular favorite having been Victoria by Hearst Publications (which has recently been revived by Hoffman Media.) With all these thoughts coming together, the natural progression seemed to be to put together a website from which to share those bits of loveliness collected here and there. So, Charm & Grace was born.

As for my qualifications, I have a BA in advertising and graphic design. When I graduated from college in 1986, none of the work was done on computers. However, I have learned and grown through the years as the world has become so electronically minded, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the process. Through my last couple of jobs I have had the opportunity to learn web design, even building websites for several companies and non-profit organizations. What a glorious challenge it is to never really stop learning and growing.
