This website was born from a passion for beauty and the need to share it. For a couple of years I had the idea and desire to start a sort of online magazine. I have been fortunate enough to come across many wonderful websites and lovely online groups with ideas or photos or articles which deserve to be collected and shared. Also, I have a fondness for the published paper magazine, with my particular favorite having been Victoria by Hearst Publications. With all these thoughts coming together, the natural progression seemed to be to put together a website from which to share those bits of loveliness collected here and there. So, Charm & Grace was born.

As for my qualifications, I have a bachelor of arts in advertising and graphic design… However, when I graduated from college in 1986, none of the work was done on computers. The graphic design was all done by hand and the internet was still years away from being an everyday availability to the masses. But through my years in the business world I was fortunate to have available to me new technologies in the graphic and website design fields. And now that I am freelancing in graphic and website design full-time, I am able to continue to grow and learn as the technologies change. What an exciting field to be in with its ever-changing and sometimes phrenetic pace. The newest thing is always just around the corner. I am thankful that I get to be part of that through website and graphic design.
